Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the mPay platform by merchants and account holders.

1. Eligibility
mPay is available to businesses and individuals operating a lawful business who meet our onboarding requirements. Accounts are issued following review; there is no public self-registration. Operating regions are Contact mPay to confirm service availability for your country, business type and requested payment methods..
2. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for the security of your credentials, PIN, two-factor device and API keys, and for all activity under your account. Notify mPay promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
3. Accurate information
You must provide accurate business, contact and settlement information and keep it current. Inaccurate information may result in suspension of processing.
4. Service availability
mPay depends on third-party payment providers. Individual payment methods may be unavailable, restricted or withdrawn without notice. mPay does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any method.
5. Fees
Processing fees are charged on successful payments and are shown in your dashboard before you process. The exact processing fee may depend on the payment method, region, merchant profile or transaction type. Applicable pricing is presented to the merchant before payment processing begins. 6. Payment processing and pending payments
A collected payment may be held in a clearing state before it becomes available for withdrawal. Clearing periods, reserves and release schedules depend on the payment method and your account, and are shown in your dashboard.
7. Settlement
Settlement of available balances follows the schedule and destinations configured on your account. 8. Refunds and disputes
Refunds are your responsibility as merchant. Disputes are handled with the relevant payment provider and may require evidence from you. See Refunds & Disputes.
9. Suspensions and restrictions
mPay may suspend or restrict processing, withhold funds pending investigation, or close an account where we reasonably believe there is fraud, a breach of these terms or of the Acceptable Use Policy, or a requirement imposed by a payment provider or law.
10. Acceptable use
Your use must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Third-party services
Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance describes potential payment-method compatibility and does not imply ownership, sponsorship or endorsement. Availability may vary. Your payments are processed by third-party providers subject to their own terms.
12. Intellectual property
The mPay name, interface and documentation remain the property of the operating entity. You are granted a limited, revocable right to use them to operate your account.
13. Warranties and liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. 14. Termination
